Ok is there a bad batch of fluid or is this problem fuled by design problems. i have heard both of these claims. If it was a bad batch of fluid wouldn't they be able to flush the fluid and replace with new??
I will be getting my 07 z in a few weeks and am a little worried now

My 06 has done this on occasion... the clutch stuck only during hard launches though. It's scares the **** out of you when your trying to shift into the next gear and can smell that awful burning smell.

my 07 z is doing something similar to that. when its warmed up you can really hear it though. its like a rattling noise at idle when the clutch is released and when i push the clutch in it goes. sounds like somebody put a rock in a can and is shaking it around. i dont know what the problem is at all. anyways i have to take mine to the dealership tomorrow and drop it off for god knows how long. i dont understand what the problem is, maybe my throw out bearing.

yeah, mine does that too. when I start the car and then release the clutch, the RPMs drop and that sound goes away.

I wonder if Nissan is doing a poor job of purging the cluch hydraulic system at the factory.

You better fight it!!! It take a good amount of "ABUSE" to make a new clutch go out if it's well made!! You would have to intentionally want to ruin the transmission, the car for that matter...Go back and tell them they are full of ****!

Perhaps a crazy question but, DID you abuse the clutch? The reason I ask is this...

I have quite a bit of fun with mine, and they never batted an eye replacing my clutch. Of course, they replaced it as part of the "clutch stick" issue but they indicated that the clutch looked fine when they pulled it out. If your clutch is truly worn out already, I'm just curious as to how it became that way No offense intended.
