Default 07' Parts Already Being Replaced!!

I got an 07' with a little of 3k miles, and my Z is at the dealership getting it clutch master cylinder replaced.... Are you kidding me, only 3k miles on it... and the part is on back order because apparently alot of 07's been having this problem, they dont even know when ill get my car back.... The problem started with the clutch pedal not coming all the way up, i had to put my foot under the pedal to get it to come back up. And then it went to having to pop the car out of gears, pumping the clutch and having to throw it in gear if i could even get it in.... wow not happy.... and said to say, i used to on a 2000 honda civic si and never had any problems this close and it had 75k on it... im a lil dissappointed.... but i wouldnt trade my Z for anything....

Hmmm, i remember reading the thread with Forged Performance dissecting a '07 Z. They deleted the shift fork and just stuck the entire slave cylinder inside the bellhousing. I guess they didn't get it right when they changed it over?

mine never did it until I let it set overnight.. after I drove it a few miles.. it would be okay again till it sat for a while.

Same exact thign happened to me. Got it all replaced liek last week. I thinkj I was the first to have the replacement parts.

Think it will happen again though again since they did not redesign the parts.

Hey John, did you get your car back today??? When you took it up there to Carriage, did they try to get out of fixing it??? I haven't had that problem yet, but it would be nice to know that they realize there is a definite problem..Oh, I'll give you a call this coming up Monday...Been really busy

No.. give me a call and I'll explain (wasn't their fault). If it happens to you let me know.. I've developed a good relationship with some people there. I'm actually leaving for the airport right now, I have to fly to Seattle .. getting back late tomorrow night. I'm picking the car up Sat. morning.

although I've seen several threads mentioning it, this is the most complete. I've also seen people having Z's from previous years mention it.. which I find really interesting.
