VA/MD Z Owners, Where to get pre-silencer removed for good price?

I'm thinking about getting it removed, the sound I would guess would be very nice with intake and silencer removed.. plus more power!!

Where can I get the pre-silencer removed for a good price? Midas and another shop, Minikei or something, both wanted 120! But I heard people in CA got it for for abuot 20-40??

Go to a different Midas shop, I just got mine removed at Midas for $50.

Seriously man, I would not do this. I paid 35 bucks to have a straight pipe welded in and it sounded terrible. It's raspy and very rice. Additionally, it won't add any power. The pre-silencer is a pipe with a resonator attached to it. The air flows right through it and is not hindered by mesh like in a cat. I paid and additional 35 bucks to have it put right back on. Others on this site love the sound, but it's not deeper...just makes more noise. Take it for what it's worth.
