Another Tranny issue - High Pitch whistle
High pitch whistle in 1st, 2nd, 3rd at 3500 RPM - Many Z owners have stated this has occured when the engine is cold; it's 70 out! Has anyone got a definate answer from the dealership or Nissan regarding the cause of this noise?
I contacted my dealership and they just keep pushing back saying its a natural noise and will cause no harm. Can anyone provide me with some guidance on this matter?

The noise gets louder as the engine gets warmer; loudest when the engine is a running temp
The fluids are stock from my 7-10k service from last month. I am bringing her in next week to drive with a mechanic. I have a feeling its the rear axle, instead of a clicking, I hear a metal on metal whine; perhaps I need a propper lube job?
Now that you mention the fluid, I noticed this issue started up after Nissan touched the car. SOB...
