Default Another Tranny issue - High Pitch whistle

High pitch whistle in 1st, 2nd, 3rd at 3500 RPM - Many Z owners have stated this has occured when the engine is cold; it's 70 out! Has anyone got a definate answer from the dealership or Nissan regarding the cause of this noise?

I contacted my dealership and they just keep pushing back saying its a natural noise and will cause no harm. Can anyone provide me with some guidance on this matter?

yea but the fluid isnt warm enough yet, so starting up the car and let it run for a minute or 2 should help it out a bit. if worse comes to worse, just take it to nissan for a check up

The noise gets louder as the engine gets warmer; loudest when the engine is a running temp

The fluids are stock from my 7-10k service from last month. I am bringing her in next week to drive with a mechanic. I have a feeling its the rear axle, instead of a clicking, I hear a metal on metal whine; perhaps I need a propper lube job?

Now that you mention the fluid, I noticed this issue started up after Nissan touched the car. SOB...
