After 1500mi I haven't had any issues with the cluth losing pressure and sinking to the floor, but it does seem REALLY sensitive. If you don't let it out just right it gets pretty jerky, I am starting to get used to it, but their is a learing curve I would say.

Anyone else notice this?

Just got the clutch sticking problem. Mine has stuck to the floor and won't diengage the clutch at all. SO... basically its stuck in neutral. Argh. This shouldn't be happening to a brand new car with only 3400 miles on it.

Sarg, where you doing anything out of the ordinary when the clutch sunk or just normal driving conditions?

I bought an 07 a little over a month ago and am praying I don't have any clutch probs. With the exception of the clutch being extremely sensitive everything else seems to be operating normally. (fingers crossed)

There are a couple of threads created regarding to this issue and i think the problem occurs only when car has over 5k miles and is driven hard all day or maybe even long road trip will do that.
I bought a Z not a corolla...thats ****'ed up

I wasn't doing anything crazy. I take care of and baby my Z. It has been hot lately, over 100 at times.
The problem was progressive. During last Sundays cruise, it started to sink and stick to the floor but was still functional, felt like a short throw or something. Immediately new the deal because of the reports I've gotten on this site. The next morning went to test it and the pedal was all the way to the floor and I couldn't get the car into gear.
I had it flat bedded to the dealer. Was sad to see it leave the driveway. Hopefully they will take care of it and get it fixed asap. Waitin to here back from the dealer, tech rep says he'll know something today.

What a bummer. Is Nissan ever gonna get their new gen Z right? Seems like the issue pops up around 3000 to 5000 miles. I'd pay a little more if they'd friggin get their shiz together.

It happened to me once, but hasn't done it since, and there were only a few hundred miles on the car when it did it....I was learning how to drive it at teh timeand stalled it at a light.....trying to get going again i revevd it to like 5k-6k without realizing i was that high and when i went to release the clutch slowly it was fighting me like it wanted to stay down.....since i am pretty new to manuals i didn't know it was a actual problem just though it was my horrible driving.
The car has about 1500 miles on it now and i have definitely improved a lot as far as driving it is concerned, but no issues since that one time.

oh, and yeah most of the time the 1st-2nd shift feels like i'm pulling the shifter through a bag of rocks, very notchy. seems like double clutching helps smoothen it out most of the time, but that is something that happens due to traffic with me, i never purposely double clutch it.

When you guys say "it happens when I drive it hard" what exactly are you doing? Are you doing whole shots/peeling out? I get on mine hard in the RPM's (except in 1st gear.....dont do light to light much these days and frankly tires are too expensive), and at 6700 havent had any issues.

ok went to the just drift event, happened 2nd run. looked at the resivor and they fill it right to the full line, with the lid on top there is no room for heat expansion. So what I did is get a paper towel and soaked it up til it was about 3/4 between full and minimum, (leaving a little air space) didnt have another problem for the other 12+ runs i had.

Hmmm... I noticed the same thing this weekend when I lifted the fluid cap. I was wondering why both the brake and clutch reservoirs were so full?!?!?

So that really helped your condition??? Interesting.
