I agree with what people have said below with reflashing the ECU, but to your disadvantage, this is not available yet. There is not alot known about the new HR engine. In time there will be alot out that will look stealth and help with performance. Just give it some time.

I mentioned the reflash because he's local to socal and technosquare is looking for an 07 test vehicle

Are you serious? The '07 has individual throttle bodies?
How can I tell?

It would be nice for the new owners if someone would step up to the plate like Chebosto did for us back in the early days.

I for one am curious to see how much more they can pull out of the car with a simple reflash.

Just found a cutaway diagram - you are correct. One on each side.
I'm hesitant to serve as the '07 guinnea pig. Maybe after I clear 1000 miles I'll feel different...right now I'm enjoying the stockness...

I dont think the 07 has any lag at all. but thats me. Im used to BIG turbo cars trhough.

Honestly every time i touch a car, i tighten the slack on the throttlebody. I didnt touch this car yet, but you might wanna look there if you think it needs some help. Alot of the other cars I had, had alot of slack from the factory

I dont think that will work with these engines. They are Drive by Wire. There is no cable in our throttle system.

Only buy mods that you don't have to take off when going FI, IMO.

No throttle cable.

The TB has an electric sensor that receives input from the gas pedal to open/close the TB plate. vs the pedal being connected to the TB phyiscally.

This is the first i have heard of this!! Nice find!!

I would be willing to give this a try. It sounds like just the thing to improve throttle response.

Good find. I'd like to research this a little more, but it looks promising.
