Default Weird grinding going on

Okay I'm not sure if this is the transmission or not because this is my second Manual transmission car but I'm getting a weird grinding noise.

heres when I hear it , if I drive my car around and park it for several hours , lets say I go to work and then when I go home, I'll start pulling out slowly out of the parking lot (5-10mph) on first and I'll suddenly feel like something quickly just grinded against something for a like a second .

The weird thing is that sometimes I'll feel that when I'm going the same speed range (5-10mph) even when I have it on neutral and am just going down my driveway entrance. I can really feel it when I have my foot on the brakes as I'm going down .

After I feel the grinding and I park somewhere , (like in the morning I go to the mall and then park for 2-3hrs) I wont get the grinding . I just happens it seems when I leave the car parked for 8hrs or more . So I'm not sure what it can be since it happens with car on 1st and car on neutral . It doesnt happen every single time still but when it does , it happens if the car has been parked for 8hrs or more.

I have an 07 6spd and only has about 5k miles .

Okay so I was reading up the manual today and felt like reading up on the VCD system when I happened to run across the explenation for the grinding I was talking about in my previous post . It turns out its just that when the VCD system is on , the VCD system checks itself when you start the car up and are going 5-10 mph and the grinding noise and feeling the grinding with foot on brakes is all normal . So thats a relief .... maybe this should be a sticky for 07 owners ???

It's actually the ABS self test. I feel it every morning and afternoon. It's been in every Z from the first '03 model.
