What kind of gain?
I knowthese questions have been beaten to death but this is pretty much what I have gathered from reading through the different threads...
I want to go N/A..... w/ the following mods. I will put the rwhp for each, and adjust please if I am wrong so I can get an idea what I am going to be looking at in gains.. Thanks everyone.
JWT pop charger - 3-5 rwhp
Injen SES exhaust - 3-5 rwhp
Crawford high flow cats - 5 rwhp
TS ecu upgrade - 15 rwhp
So total for all these mods would be about 26-30 rwhp right?
Down the road I will be looking at header, and plenum. Not sure what else. Am I in the ballpark?

The TS reflash i would say is more along the lines of 10HP, the Injen exhaust is about right, maybe alittle more like 5-8 but the cats i would say will give you ~8-10HP. I would honistly recommend getting a MD plenum spacer before the flash. you will get equal if not greater gains from the spacer, and it is cheaper. Also, if you do the flash after you finish all your NA mods, the flash will be more benificial, and will most likely yield more power.
So in my honist opinion, i would just go w/o the TS flash, get the spacer and mrev2 (if your a rev-up if not just the spacer) and then save alittle for a UTEC or a flash. If you plan on getting headers or anything else i would go utec since gains are better and it will allow you to tune YOUR car, unlike a reflash which just is a general tune for all cars (for lack of better explaination). Oh yeah, also i wouldnt go Crawford Highflows only because they are expensive, and just regular testpipes will give better gains, not much better but better none the less. And they will be much cheaper.

You might wanna consider some cams and good fuel map tuning if your going N/A route, most of what u've listed is nothing but bolt-ons(nothing against it). N/A is much more expensive to get good hp out of in the end.
if you doing breather upgrades its good to get all 3 Headers , CAI, and Exhaust they will compliment each other and give ur car better air flow + more power.
I tried to build a N/A honda back in the day and realized how much trouble it is, and it just leaves you wanting more power. Eventually after realizing that , i purchased the Z and am now saving up for a Supercharger. but that's jus my 2cents

yeah, the NA route is a difficult one, if you are looking to make some real power, look towards nitrous or Turbo/SC because to make NA power, you will need to spend one hell of alot of money

Thanks for the info! So a plenum spacer or a brand new plenum w/ a spacer?

I had the same issues w/ my RSX-S. I went bolt ons and got as good as a 14.3 @ 99mph at the track (100+ degrees at track level) but could never beat that time. So I went Greddy Turbo and knocked over a second and a half off. Reason I got my Z was because my RSX was daily driven, and little parts on the turbo whether it be the hose or a clamp would break, and I would have to wait a week to get a new part.
N/A is the way I wanted to keep it. As long as I am in the 13s (mid 13s) I am good to go
That is good enough to beat the mustangs, and Z28s that run stock or close to stock. You guys know my biggest mod is myself shedding 45lbs?
That's a lot of weight heh. Now I need to make my speaker box, and amps easy to disconnect so I can pull them out when I want.

haha! Yah, I was looking for that thread. I went through a lot of my posts but forgot when I posted it.
I had been contemplating over the last year what I was going to do with my car. I was laid off after getting real ill to the point of almost dying. Sucks because I was working as an outside contractor so they could cut me w/o having to pay me a dime. I remember asking about it though, but didn't know if it was this site or 350zmotoring.
So yah, pretty much still asking the same thing. I have my new job, and I have purchased a few mods. Wanted to get ab out 30rwhp.
How are yours working out for you?
I would just get a plenum spacer. I think they are about 200$ or something around there, cheaper if used. Since you have an 04 just the spacer, and not spacer +MREV2. The mrev is ment for REV-UP models, and will not really give you any substantial gains. If you are really trying to push out every last HP, then get an MREV2 also, and i still think that will be cheaper then getting those damn highflow cats which cost an arm and a leg. I installed my Intake (injen) and my PRO-1 Exhaust at the same time, and notice alittle gain up top. When i put on my Testpipes and the Spacer, i noticed a definite change in power at around 2500RPMs, and more around 4000. Car pulls like mad. I still need a y-pipe, then im going to get pullies and maybe a MREV just cause i do want every ounce of power. I figure a UTEC +100shot after that should do the trick, maybe some headers but i doubt i will get headers just because the install price is about as much as the headers cost themselves lol.

BTW my brain does not work in horsepower, but ET and tenths of a second. My times are posted here: https://my350z.com/forum/drag/233840-top-25-1-4-mile-times-for-tt-st-supercharger-nitrous-bolt-ons-stock.html
