Default slight shifting problems after JWT clutch combo

just installed my JWT clutch/flywheel combo and noticed that at high rpms...say 6500 from 1-2 the gears are harder to engage, like notchy between the gates. just wondering if i need to adjust my clutch, i noticed when i shift it slower and push the clutch down sooner it doesnt do it. But when i power shift, its hard. I did not notice this with my stock setup. It might be me but just wanted to know what you guys think?
thanx -Nick

yes, i would it. You buy a clutch thats 800 but won't pay 50 extra for some good tranny fluid.

here you go, i just took some pics of my bottles i still had in my shed.

12 bucks a bottle, you need 4 bottles. It was a lot better than my stock tranny fluid. Makes the shifter shift smooth like butter in any gear. Still a bit notchy but i like it like that. I don't want it as smooth as 1993 honda shifters.

Make sure you get gl4 not gl5. All the shops kept telling me that newer cars use gl5 and said that the 350z should. Don't listen to them.

This works get wity my JWT combo. Enjoy.

idk why you would have to adjust teh shift gates. Just try the fluid and make sure the clutch is all the way press down when you shift.

Exclamation

If you remove the shifter boot assembly, you'll see the brass colored bracket with 3 bolts that secures the shifter. When you put the shifter in 6th gear, it should just touch the side of the bracket. If not, adjust it accordingly. Same for 5th gear; it should touch the bracket.

I had to do this after dropping my tranny because it was really hard to get into 1st and 2nd. Now it's smooth as buttah

This is most likely your problem.
