Exclamation Manual Transmission Whining

I recently changed out my manual transmission oil and switched to Royal Purple Synthetic. When I first start the car after it sitting all night and drive it, the transmission whines. It only whines when under a load and near the point of shifting up to the next gear (2K-4K RPM). This only last until the oil heats up, approx 2-4 minutes of driving. I followed the tech manual and used the right oil. Could this just be a characteristic of using a synthetic? Has anyone else had this happen?

Default Not too loud

The whining isn't too loud, but loud enough. It's high pitched and directly proportional to the load on the transmission. As the RPM's go up the whining increases in frequency then when shifted up to a new gear it stops until you reach the shifting point, approx 3K-4K RPM. It only does it after it has sat overnight. Also, the bottle states that it's good for GL5 and GL4 applications.
