Default what after the gear rebuilt.

i had some problems in my gear grinding and the warranty was over so i couldnt get replacment one..

i did gear rebuilt in the dealer of nissan... but i was told that things will not be the same as before.. i mean since you opened the gear, you will keep facing problems .... is that true.. ???


please advice

I don't see why the car wouldn't drive the same afterwards. A buddy and I replaced his 3rd gear syncros to his Z32. It's not a job for everybody but it can be done by an experienced mechanic.

my car gear rebuilt was done in nissan dealer..

and i didnt mean that it would not drive the same.. but i ment that problems will start since the gear was already opened before....

As new requires all new parts or assembly.

Don't assume that the majority of dealer techs come anywhere close to a brand new factory assembly..........with QC at every assembly step.
