those interested, save your cash, or better yet, if you have the money burning a hole in your pocket, send it my way, I am looking for some cash to pay for my new cams, headstuds, gauges, and headgaskets
you obviously have never installed a grounding kit on any one of your cars. It does wonders for automatics and still it makes every car run better. No there won't be any hp gains. Is that what you were expecting?

I agree with zivman. If you want a better ground for the car, buy some thicker wire. My cousin who has installed car stereo for 20 years agrees as well.

Keep in mind the flow of electricity is from negative to positive, so grounding does help, but it doesn't require a $200 kit. More like $5 in wire.

In addition to a grounding kit, a thicker battery ground is a good idea, as is a thicker alternator ground... 4 AWG is probably thick enough.

I just went out to see where I could ground the alternator. Where is the grounding point for the alternator?

You can ground it to any bolt that holds the alternator to the motor

I grounded mine to the stock chassis (frame) grounding point under the coolant reservoir. You can't miss it. Only required about a 12" length of 4 AWG wire to get from the alternator to the grounding point....
