Default Starting to Mod my Z

I have an 03' Performance Z. I've had the car for roughly 1 1/2 yrs... My car is stock as of now with the exception of my new Volk GT-S's I got a few months back.. which I love! I wanna go FI and I've been debating between SC or TT. That's a discussion in itself and I'm still not sure exactly which direction I'm going to go although right now I think I'm leaning towards SC for the fact that there's less chances for complications as apposed to TT (From what I've read). I'm pretty new to all this so I need some of your guys's help. Aside from choosing SC or TT and what not... I have no clue where to start on my car to obtain that goal. I know I can't just slap on a TT on a stock car and push it and think my motor won't blow up. I know that's not really ideal. What are some critical things I should think about getting before I take the step into SC or TT? And yes I've read the "New to Mods etc..." post but just wanted some more direct advice if you guys could. Thanks in advance.

Reading threads, stickies, peoples experiences, will answer all of your Q's. People asking Q's without putting in the time before hand to research will not get you help on these forums. Not being a d!ck just telling you how it works.

I'm no expert (notice my car is stock too), but from what I've read, I'd say minimum you'd want to upgrade your exhaust, tires, clutch, possibly brakes, and I'm sure there are many others but those would be a good start.

popcharger, plenum spacer, headers(not if going Turbo), catdelete or high flow, y-pipe, then buy a utech and you can tune along the way. Those are all power mods.
For overall performance consider sways, and maybe coilovers.

There are so many directions you can take on the path to spending all of your hard earned cash power, handling, breaking, looks.

Search as much as possible and find the direction that is best for you.
