Default carbonetics twin disc noise?

I have the carbonetics twin disc and the noise is horrible. People pull next to me and ask what is wrong. What if I raise the idle to 1000rpms. My old jwt clutch/flywheel had a similar noise but less intense. I raised the idle to 800rpms and it got rid of the noise. I only have 200 miles on the new twin disc so will the noise and ease of use increase with miles? Thanks- James

It just means you have a serious clutch. In all honesty, all the lightened flywheels have some kind of noise to them. The twins tend to be a little noiser than the triples.

We just tried the Exedy twin disc carbon GTM spec, and that thing is 100%. still has a firm engagement, but no noise at all.

Yes, it will definately help. Also, give it a few more miles, and it will fund that the noise will deminish.
