Default Question about TC and LSD

I tried a search but nothing really came up for my specific ?, I know the rules...but I am not sure if when you turn of TC does that also turn of LSD?? Also, when I drive on the highway and run her hard(redline) and shift to the next gear I get the slip light to come on in 4th, 5th, is that normal? Or does my Z reallllllllly break traction at those speeds?? thanks in advance!

Turning off your traction control does not disengage your limited slip differential. You should not be losing traction with a 4th to 5th gear shift unless your in the wet/snow or on a really loose surface. But I could be wrong maybe your TC is very sensitive.

I don't think it is a big deal, nothing to worry about. The car doesn't really lose traction. Turn VDC/TC off and best you'll get is a tiny chirp. BTW, How would you describe your issue at the dealership? Would you tell them you're redlining going into 5th?

Reminds me of my retarded married-in uncle who complained at the Chrysler dealership that his cruise control wouldn't function at 120 Mph I can just imagine how the service guy looked at him,....... don't be my uncle.

I know what you meant. Read my post, into 5th

You should take the tech out for a spin and replicate the issue.
