I read on another thread, that a guy had his whole tranny replaced because of a recall,

my car makes weird sounds kind of when you turn it off, and then also it makes a weird sound now and then when its idle, if your standing out side of the car, you can hear it, its weird, i didn't think that it was a big problem, i bought my car used with a 100k extended mile powertrain warranty, what should i do??

There is no transmission recall that I know of.

Very difficult to a weird sound. Unusual noise at idle could include the clutch and flywheel. If the Z is shifting properly, it will be difficult to get Nissan to fix anything. Good luck.
