Default Soft rev limiter 05 Z?

I was doing some test today with my car. Mine will NOT bounce redline. If I hold down the throttle my engine holds rpm at 6600. Even if I am driving and let off the throttle and back on it in neutral it still holds it. All the dyno videos I can find when people hit redline the engine bouces hard off redline. Mine just holds it sitting or driving.... Just wonder if mine is normal.

I have made alot of Dyno pulls and assumed that the Dyno operator was letting off.

Its normal. Newer models have torque management where it pulls timing and fuel as you approach redline so its not a hard bounce off the rev limiter like 03-04 models. I think they changed it in the 04.5 models. My 05 G35 does the same thing.
