sorry if this is a repost, but does the 07 auto z have a lower redline than the manual version? I've read on car and driver that the auto has a redline of 6800 i believe it was. Also if this were true wouldn't that make the auto slower than the manual? sorry for the noob questions but thx for any reply.

 

yep you have the correct info about the redlines of the AT and MT, the 6MT 2007 is just a bit quicker, as you consider that the car does not feel really alive after 7200 RPM but it does get to 7500 pretty quick
