Mike, the gear whine is still aparent in the 350evo unit, I had it for over a year, It is a quality piece and BJ hooked me up with a pumpkin. The loudness has most to do with the shimming according to W.M.

I run the central 20 gears and bought them from z-1, they are a quality piece and I have had zero issues at this point. Way less money compared to the evo piece. Can't go wrong...

.

So what car does this gear come from the factory with? And there are no Nissan vechicals in the states that come stock with this final drive??

Todd- it's a Japan market only sedan, and the price to get them new from Nissan Japan is the same as getting it from Central 20. That's why we began carrying the Central 20 ones in the first place - we knew there would be 0 issues as its a factory Nissan part (as I mentioned, NISMO themselves offers it as a combo with their LSD kit).

Any idea when you'll have the 3.917 FD back in stock? I'm thinking about getting it with the Cusco 1.5 way RS LSD. Do any package deals for that?

hard to say - the diffs come and go pretty quickly, and we try to always have them on the shelf but obviously I can't project out till September. Right now this is the last diff we have, and I know Cusco USA is out of stock on them too

Well when I get a definitely answer about whether the diff and 3.9 gears fit the 07's without problems I'll start thinking about getting all the stuff seriously, til then it's just speculation... Can't spend $1500 on parts without being sure.
