Default UR Crank Pulley Belt Squeal

I can't seem to get rid of it, though I'm going to try lubricating the pulley next. I tried tightening the belts today, didn't seem to help. Its usually only on startup, though if I have the AC running it seems to happen as well, especially when turning the wheel pretty far (utilizing power steering).

I don't think the belts are loose, there is not a lot of play with them. What else could it be?

don't use any lube.... bad idea

simply, either your belts are worn, or not tight enough. It takes making the belt slightly tighter than normal to make them not squeal but trust me, that's the problem

Can you tighten the belts without taking away the radiator fan etc? I have the same sound with my UR pulley set and want the dealer to tighten the belts when I have my upcoming oil change. Can you just reach with a socket extension or something to tighten them? I don't want to be charged too much for tightening them if it's an easy job.

Yes the bolts are easily accessible after removing the plastic shielding underneath. They are 11mm bolts I believe and sit in an assembly underneath your power steering and AC pullies I think. Both face directly at the ground.

I'm going to give tightening them another shot then and avoid the lubrication. I've only had the belts on maybe two months, so I can't imagine they are worn out, especially since they are Gates belts and considered very good belts. But if it continues, I will buy new belts and start over.

Thanks!
