Default 03' oil problem

My 03' Z drink oil like beer man!
I have 2 add 1-2 quarts between oil change, I usually change oil around 4k miles with Mobil 1 synthetic. What's the problem?
I used 2 put ...lube moly...something like that, is that better then mobil 1?
How about purple power? Any suggestions?

1 quart between changes is not all that bad to be honest - esp if you drive the car hard. It's at the higher end of what I'd consider "normal"

Best bet is to try using a different type of oil, and comparing results. Personally, I run Valvoline synthetics on my 04, and on my original motor (about 50k miles), it used at most, .25 quart between changes

I use Royal Purple and think it runs cleaner longer than Mobile 1. I doubt it will solve your burning problems, but the switch to 5w-30 purple from 10w-30 mobile 1 might help slow it down some. (little thicker oil)
