Canton oil filters make great products. Their filter line usually includes
a short filter and a longer one like most companies. The fact that they
flow 15 gallons per minute for the small one with an 8 micron filtration
rate is the best I have seen and used for years. The larger ones flow
45 gallons with the same 8 micron rating. They have Synthetic media
which is unaffected by moisture. I have used these in large cubic inch
marine race engines, and inspected each one when changed to see
if any problems were about to show themselves. Try to find another
8 micron with these flow ratings. Might be more expensive to purchase,
but the best protection one can have for a performance engine.
