Default Question about crush washers

What size are the crush washers for the tranny and diff? Are they the same as the one for the oil drain plug?

I couldn't find it anywhere and the dealer wasn't any help. Trying to change the fluids soon and need to know.

a crush washer/crush sleeve is used to put tension on the pinion bearing... it's not really a washer to install with the drain plug... it sounds like your looking for a regular washer right?... You won’t need a crush washer/sleeve unless you are rebuilding the pumpkin... Actually I don’t even remember if the differential drain plug has an additional washer… I know the motor oil drain plug does.

Accord to the FSM, the trans has a gasket, not a crush washer. Same goes for the diff.

Check out these two pages, you should be able to find the part #s of the gasket/seal/washer/etc.

Trans:

Diff:

the crush washer/sleeve (Nissan calls spacer housing) is 38165... not applicable to OPs project (that I can tell).

Just don’t worry about them, if you are doing your first change, you'll be fine with the ones that are on it now.

It's just the washer on the fill and drain plugs. I'm just changing the fluid.
