Jus ordered mine today from Ultrarev. I added a stubby antenna and I was still under $1400 to my door. I am being told that you need shims from Nissan but other than that, its a drop in on the base. Anyone in the Cincinnati, Ohio area have any recommendations for a shop to install?

Havent needed shims on any of the installs we have done. Always check, but havent needed them yet.

Sharif......you need to either open a new shop closer, find a way to bypass a few states so GA and OH are closer or give me a TT parts and labor free so the trip is shorter (and more fun)! Since none of that is going to happen, I guess the next best thing I can ask is do you know the Nissan part # or #'s for the shims. That way if I find a shop I can give them everything and the part number...and if they need them, have them order them. Thanks!!!

FWIW, there's about 48 different shim sizes and most are special order. But a straight up diff install normally will not need any shimming.

If you dont have Brembos and do not have leather then you probably have the performance model most likely....
Which was the model up from the enthusiest....Differences were the VDC, 18 inch rims

Quaife isn't a locking diff. Its torque biasing. It makes no sounds, ever.

Wow, this review "sounds" great. But the OP sounds like an idiot.

What model car did you have man? What LSD was in there before you put in the Quaife?? Did you do ZERO research before buying a "Touring" model Z? What a ******* joke!!!

Here's the best I found for the Quaife:

$1335.60 shipped.

This worries me. How many Quaife installs have you done on Base model Z's?
