i bought a used turbonetics kit and had it for over 4 months, love it. no problems as long as you relocate those ac lines properly

None of the kits are more reliable than the next, really. It is all in the tuner.

The question is not which kit- as all of them can be made safe or destructive.
It depends on the install/setup/tune.

The Stillen is probably the most reliable. Not coincidently, it's also the least powerful.

I think another good question to ask is, how many miles do people have on their turbo kit? Because someone can have a kit on for a year but put only 2000 miles while others might put on 10,000 miles.

I have been procharged for 20000 miles now and has been solid as a rock. I put 30000 miles plus a year on cars and this kit is very reliable!

Vortech by far. Most here have turbo's, so the outcome is going to be lean toward them.
