18. Now there is one small little piece left, the pilot bushing. Most clutch sets include this so you might as well change it. The service manual says to use a special tool, use it if you have it. I used an old trick to get this guy out, fill in the hole with some thick grease and with the clutch alignment tool begin tapping it into the hole, (I removed the plastic ring on mine). Eventually the pressure from the grease will pop it out. I didn’t replace the pilot bushing as it looked great! This is rare to wear out!

Basically, you need an open ended 17mm wrench and a hacksaw. Don't worry you aren't cutting anything with the hacksaw. It's just for show. Stick the open end of the wrench into the little gap between the transmogrifier output shaft and the bellhousing adapter. If you give it a sharp twist, you should end up with a handful of bearing grease and a lot of little gold pins and rods. Use the bearing grease to lubricate the clutch alignment tool and insert it into the pinion carraige. If you are careful you may just be able to pull out that thing you were asking about.
