got my gears installed today!!! no noise nothing. Also SRT replaced my clutch dampener with a steel line filled it up with motul clutch fluid and now no more clutch issues!! I will update with more results and reviews. It started raining here so I really didnt get to test the gears to the limits.

I dropped the car off at 11:00am today and I picked it up at 5:30pm today

Roads arestill slick so Ireally couldnt do much. I was doing 70mph in 6th gear and the rpm was around 3250. Is that normal? I really cant feelthe difference until I get to push the car on dry grounds. I thought I heard a slight noise in the rear when I was making a right turn. I have totake the car out ona road test tommorow and makesure everything isgood.
The nismo finned cover looks pretty awesome from the rear tho...

Realized they used some other clutch fluid theyhad layin around instead ofthe motul that was in the bag of goodies. I will change that first thing monday morning and see how bad I can abuse the clutch until I can get a real one.

oh andmy 2nd gear tops out at around 61-62. I think the 285/35/19's are around27" tall?? they look very tallcompared to my drag radials (26") Hope I dontneed to shift to 5th gear with the 26" DR's...

I also have 285/35x19's and 3000 rpm is 80 miles per hour using the OEM tach and speedo. That's with stock 3.538 rear gears.

Using the gear/mph link that Aceman originally posted, 3200 rpm calculates out to 79 miles per hour with the 4.08 gears. That's a bit higher than you're seeing.

Second gear with a 4.08 at 7200 calculates out to 61 miles per hour, so you seem to be spot on there.

A 285/35x19 tire calculates to have a 26.85 inch diameter.

ok I got to takethe car out for a nice drive yesterday and today. 6th gear cruising at 80mph the tach read around 3250rpms. 2nd geartops out around 58-60.

Its like driving a whole new car now. I found myself hittin the rev limiter couple of times today coming into the hwy fromthe ramps. 1st and 2nd gear revs up real quick and I find myself needing to use 3rd alot coming out of the corners. 5 and 6th gears accelerate alot quicker at highway speeds so theres really no need for me to downshift much. 6th gear feels a lot better on the highway.
I willhead to the track this friday and hopefully with the new launch method I read about from alberto I can hit some mean 60's and run into the 12's this friday! wish me luck

Great info, thanks! That sounds like a lot of fun... I can't wait to get mine.

Do you have a link to Alberto's launch method?

Good luck at the track!! I am interested in finding out how much you think removing the clutch dampener has helped things. I roasted my clutch the first time I tried to launch at high rpm. Havent noticed the pedal sticking to the floor yet though.

Just flushed out the "old" fluid and put in the Motul fluid....Clutch feel has drastically improved. Havent really dumped it or anything crazy yet. Will save that for the track this friday

havent gone that fast but it should pull fairly faster but your top speed will be a bit lower but youll never reach it anyway due to the governor restricting it.

Also I did some 5k rpm launches yesterday and the clutch did not stick at all!! however they did burn a bit but im guessing thats due to some driver errors
