I'm collecting a Database of the different ECUs in our cars.. was looking for an easy way to distinguish between them.
It seems that Nissan labeled their wiring harness with the ECU code. We notice the serial number on the wiring harness IS THE SAME NUMBER AS THE ECU CODE.
This makes it easy to find out what program it has in each car w/o the work of pulling out the ECU.
It's basically the last 5 digits. In the pictures, you can see 24105 CD0000. CD0000 is MY ECU program code.
check it out... this is quick and easy.. please just email me your Code and Model Z... TechnoSquare cant do it alone ... we need the Z community's help...

please post:
Car Model (Base/Enthusiast/Performance/Touring/Track)
your Drive Train (Auto or 6speed)
and which options you have.
the sooner this is done. the sooner we can get the ECU program out. which is now complete for my Track version...
thanks!

Do you want 6spd owners to do this also?
secondly, are you suggesting that there is more than 1 version of the ecu for each transmission (auto and 6spd)? I never knew that a manual/auto had more than 1 version ecu. I always figured all the auto's have the same ecu, as well as all the manual's having another ecu but the same to all other 6spds.

Well it makes some sense of having different ecu's between model trims. Things like the VCD and LSD, Tire pressure on the track... and things like that...
Chebosto you have track 6sp? if you do I should have the same ECU
