Default New Tranny on the way!!

Well went to the dealer today to complain about the clicking coming from the rear end.

When they called me up a couple of hours later they told me that I was getting a new transmission and my rear axel nuts were replaced and re-greased.

SOOOO I was pretty excited to hear about my new transmission coming because I swear mine is junk, it does grind often.

On the work order I see a part number for the tranny listed as 32010-cd009

My question is, is this transmission any different then the one that came in the car originally? Is it better in any way? And is it the tranny from the 07??

THanks guys.

I thought maybe I could swing a clutch out of this too but he said the clutch will not be touched. Im at 51k on the original clutch and it feels great still, I really am not that hard on the car while shifting, I kinda just shift slow all the time. But im sick of the clunking, in the morning leaving my apartment complex the clunking and rattling echeos off the buildings and people turn there head like my cars falling apart. It sucks.

So doesnt the tranny on the first replacement come with a clutch?? Or they require it? I tipped the service writer 20 bucks hoping to get a clutch too but I guess I cant be to greedy.

THey said to do the clutch too its 800$ !!!!

woohoo??? if there is a legitimate reason for issues the dealerships will honor the warranty and fix the car. its when people expect it just because they 'think' its going bad.

Well ive never got anything replaced under warranty before at all in 50,000 Miles. I think they owe me something.

ANd my tranny does grind, I just learned how to drive and avoid it, basically I drive like a ***** and shift like my grandma.

Im now looking forward to really SHIFTING my car hard sometimes and not worry about GGRRRRRRRRIIIIIIICRRUUUNNCHH.

They also readjusted my idle air, they said it was all screwed up. Car seems to idle higher now.

SO got it all installed, they didnt include the clutch so I had to spend it out of pocket, no biggie. But get this the tranny that came out was a cd008!! Is that possible from a early 04??

Car feels a little smoother, rattles are still there though, still seems like another noisy tranmission. Im still happy though.

My idle is a little low at a dead stop so they did a idle air learn and it didnt help, so now there telling me my throttle body needs to be replaced!! Does this sound right??
