DO NOT buy a Silver grounding kit if...
"Silver" means a clear sleeve over the wire. Here's mine 7K miles and 4 months after install. I have the rare "****" colored grounding kit.
You can clearly see what the heat does to the wiring closest to the engine, while the wires running to the battery still look good. This is by no means a show car so I won't be changing it out, but if you are building a car for shows and what not, keep this in mind.

I was thinking about making a blue set myself, ordering blue wire for $.99 a foot when I ordered my ends, but you may have just sold me on going to Home Depot and getting the heat resistant generic black stuff. I'm also not looking for a fancy underhood experience.
Droideka - Did you get that kit from me??? I don’t think so. I have had a Silver kit on my Z for quite a while and they show NO signs of yellowing or burning like yours.
I only switched to a red set recently to do the photo install shoot for my website and because the wires match my Injen.

I dug my old set out of the closet. They were only on for about 6 months though.
I’d like to hear back from some of the people who bought my kit. How are they holding up?
