Default CD009 Stiffer with Age?

I got a CD009 Tranny put in about 2k miles ago and the clutch pedal has gradually gotten stiffer. It feels about the same as my 006 that was in my 03originally. The brand new 009 when it first went in was relatively light and felt like an 07 model car.

Anyone else notice this gradual increase in stiffness?

I don't have a lot of experience with the 350Z tranmissions, but in my previous two cars (Mustang GT, and Mustang Cobra), a fluid change seemed to do a lot as far as creating butter smooth shifts.

Im on my third tranny, my original went out at aroung 32k, then i got it replaced with the newer CD009, that one also developed a 6th gear grind....so i again had it replaced.... im now on my third and sixth gear is grinding again, i'm gonna get it replaced again soon

I know a guy with an 06 and an 07, both have had their tranny's replaced so i dont think they've fixed the problem. The guy with the 07 had less then 2k miles!

Oh yea, Yes they both felt really soft at first and then gradually became stiffer, i like it both ways so i didnt mind, but the brand new tranny and cluth felt like butter.

Just got mine replaced with CD009 tranny and CD019 clutch. Its really smooth right now. I wonder if theres a warranty period from the time they installed the part? My drivetrain warranty expires in 1.5 months so if its breaks after that, I guess I'll be SOL.

if the pedal is getting stiffer, that would be the clutch and not the tranny. The notchyness is from the tranny.

I believe there's a 12 month warranty on parts and labor, so i think your covered until then, but im not too sure.

What is the drivetrain warranty length in years? 5 or 6?

My CD009 is getting stiffer, about 10k miles after install. 6th is actually becoming quite a b!tch to shift into if I don't match it right. Not grinding (yet), just not engaging.

I was and am concerned about my tranny. I found out that my tranny is a 009. It was replaced at 14K and I'm at 24K now.

3rd is notchy, but no grind. It almost feels as if it's misaligned or something. As if there were guide for the shifter that were off.

But, I've heard that this is a normal thing for our cars, so I guess I'll use some nice aftermarket tranny fluids and cross my fingers!
