Noah you should be very proud of this. I am positive many will follow (including me), but you are first. Super clean, and as many have said, looks like it belongs there.

I can't wait.

Noah, I hope you don't mind I post these pics on the other forums I'm on for my couple car enthusiast fellows. They all admired the car so much

^^^^ Technically that's a cool-air box. What happens is once the hood is shut, it creats a "box" by adding the top layer (hood = top layer). However, keeping in mind this engine and intake were not designed for this particular car, you are right. He would probably benifit more if that shield was not blocking the Z's natural opening, which seems to be aligned with his bumper.

However, considering all the extra Hp that engine is making, I doubt he'll care much. LoL

I have a question for the OP / shop / fabricator. When you guys installed the T56, did you see any possibilities of matting it with the stock VQ? I know there's a T56 that uses hydro v. linkage. Assuming the dimensions were similar in size, what are the possibilities of using the stock clutch/flywheel with the T56 and being able to use either fork?

Any help/advise would be greatly appreciated.

-Nasy

P.S.
In case I forgot to mention, congrats on the swap!!!

By the way, if my question seems to be taking the thread off topic, please feel free to PM me. I'm hoping you could share some info regarding the T56.

Thanks again!

If you don't mind me asking Noah, what kind of wheels are those? Looks very similar to Iforged Daytona's, which they might be.

They are WORK Varianza T1S. They are 19x9.5 + 24 and 19 x 11 +22

They are wrapped in Vredestein Sessanta 255/35/19 and 295/30/19

Awesome wheels and sick tires....highly recommended

this is one of the best swaps i could of imagined... the only v8 i had seen swapped was the titan motor or the 4.5 from the M45... this seems so much better!

Congrats on the car, to bad I did not get a chance to make it out to SEMA this year to see it.
Are you going to stick with the LS2, or complete the LSX ?

Those wheels look great, as for the tires, what is the treadwear rating on them? How much have they been actually driven on ?

Thanks alberto....i am dying to beat her like a rented mule as soon as the magazines are done shooting pics (those that know me know I'd rather drive and beat up my car than go to shows)

I have had vredestiens on previous cars and have loved them. THey are grippy as hell yet still maintain their grip in the rain. I compare their duality between conditions to rival/if not better the BGF KDW2( my second fav tire of all time for daily driving). These tires are extremely popular with the european and exotic crowd and have a 280 AA A UTQG rating. Some corvette owners rave about these and have even run lime rock with them.

Car looks great, saw it at SEMA. When the car is complete what Nissan functions will be lost? I see where Hinson is working on the AC. I'm curious if cruise control, gauges and especially the one that has mileage, TPS, etc will still work.
