With 48 pages and well over a year old... I have yet to see any numbers in this thread.
I want to know how much this engine swap costs, and what kind of numbers it is putting out...

I've gone from impressed to envy to irritated.
This thread is useless without the following:
1. What are the build options?
2. How much does each option cost?
3. What is the turn around time?
4. Where is this legal and illegal?
5. Where are the dynos?
6. What is fuel economy like?
7. Does the VDC still work and how effective is it?
8. What is the new weight distribution?
9. What modifcations to the fuel system is required?
Some of the above questions were danced around, but never fully answered. Mad props for the swap, but damn, we need more info. Unsubscribing in 1 week.

Pricing - We will spend a few days this week going over the materials and time invested. Pricing for a DIY mail order kit and turn-key installations will be available shortly. We're not going to make you guys wait much longer.
Let us know if you have any more questions or concerns. We'll be happy to help where we can.
Thanks.

Almost seems like a better value would be to just pony up a few extra bucks and buy a 05-06 Vette

Yeah, you would think with the demand and interest in such a project, there would be more info?? There isn't much listed on Hinson's website either.

I agree this is a bad idea and not worth the money.

I'd assume when some of the questions above are answered
I'm really interested in picking up a high mileage Z and doing an LS swap - but that depends on the money factor involved.
I may end up in an E55 now need something business like

I still have no vids man....i have even made a N.E. Thread asking for help...well that went nowhere....
anyway i have been out enjoying my car....i love it...i have destroyed my sway links tho...i will be replacing them this week, changing the oil, installing the s/c and hitting the road...honestly i think you are wating $ by going with the 376 motor. If i were to do it all over again, a simple 383 LS1 with heads and cams would be the way to go.
I have a 3.93 from my original N/A Days installed.

Busy summer for me with work and track and other car projects, been off this thread for a while; got caught up now (I think -- doh!). Can you explain/give more detail to your "If I were to do it over again" recommendation of going with a simple 383 LS1 with heads and CAM (ah, not plural )? I have NISMO 408's in my Z. What kind of hp/tq would one typically get out of a 383 LS1 with heads and cam? Are strokers as reliable? I've never driven a stroker motor, from a driving characteristic, how would it differ from say the stock LS2 in my 06 GTO? Now that my track season is over for the year I am giving this swap more thought.
Any pics of the engine bay with SC installed? Did it clear the strut bar? Did you have to get a different one? Not use one? Require any hood modifications? What SC did you go with?
If you still need help with video let me know. Last I knew/remembered, you had a harness bar. I have an in-car video setup for my Z for the track that you could borrow if we were going to do a Fall meet or just gtg to get tons of video of that beast.
