Okay so you said something about "as much HP as possible and still be able to drive it....". Then you mentioned 1400 crank HP. What gives? A 350Z is driveable with 1200 whp lol? I should think not?
Noah, and you still have the AC, the hydrolic system for steering and brakes is working, the drive-by-wire is intergrated, right?
Were there any features that you had to sacrifice?

I'd like to know the final weight difference as well. Having weighed out both an SR20DET and a LS6, I can say that whoever said this engine was lighter than the SR is wayyyy off. Maybe the newer LS2 is lighter than the LS6, but I bet not by much. I have not had a VQ35 to weigh, but someone posting a swap into his S14 weighed it and it came to be 310 lbs with flywheel. Thats about 110 lbs lighter than the LS6 I weighed, iirc. I'm not at home to look it up, unfortunately, but I think a it's a fair bet the LS is about a 100 lbs on the VQ35.
Now, can Hinson engineer the Corvette's rear transaxle to go into the back of the Z, cause that would really be somehting!? 50/50 weight distribution with an LS motor up front and a transaxle out back like on the vette or the new GT-R, wow- that's the stuff dreams are made of.

The car is in route to SEMA. It was a tight time frame, but the car drove on the trailer Thursday evening. The engine bay looks great.
We are currently working on our website, and we will have information available next week. Pricing is still TBD, but we'll finalize this over the coming week.
Here is some more eye candy for everyone.
New Brakes. Wheels to be changed in Vegas.

On the trailer and headed to SEMA. Bumper had to be removed to get on trailer. It is mounted in a temporary fashion.

Have a good weekend! Check with our website next week for more information.
