i did the edgeracing tc mod a few years back. there was nothing worse then dropping 1k on parts and labor and getting zero out of it.

the company is in cali and i lived in detroit, mi at the time. i had a my tc shipped to edgeracing and they shipped it back to my nissan dealer who installed it. other then my tc running hotter, i have no gotten any gains out of it. i took detailed before and after info and got nothing.

i got a hold of ande and we tried to figure it out, but with 3k miles between us, it just took too long and stalled out, so i just gave up on it. however i just moved to vegas a few months ago, so i might drive over there soon and have them take a look at it personally.

What did you have them set the stall at? I also have the Edge TC. I got mine a few years ago and love it.

I never really felt any gains from my Edge TC . Other than the higher stall , I got nothing from it . The VB was put in later on and made a big difference

To the OP--

You've had the reprogramming kit on for awhile now... can you comment on the improvement? How does the experience of both auto and manual shifting differ from stock?

Thx!

I went from 1.9/60'times down to 1.7/60' times with my TC...not a bad investment for 400 bucks.

I would not be very happy either with a 2800 stall since the OEM torq conv stall per OEM specs is between 2650-2900rpm. Its no wonder you had a better 60' before the new TC. 3200 is a good # for an upgraded TC

andre recommended a stall of 2800. he said stock was 1800 and around 2200 or so with slippage. but i guess not.

Andre is a real nice guy, but off on his numbers. I personally saw the spec sheet when I went to Nissan and they pulled it up for me on their computer.IIRC the guys with built trannies from GTM and SGP have their stalls at 3500.
