Default Valve cover swap

Don't know about you but i hate the fact that our valve covers have built in spark tube seals and they don't last too long had to replace several valve covers on Maximas and they are 2xx each. plus i like having the option of powder coating them.

other day i noticed that very first year of VQ in the Pathfinder/QX4 ... 01 i remember correctly have the "normal" aluminum valve covers. In 02 they switched to all composite/plastic valve covers. sooooooooo does anybody know if they are identical to those on the Z33s?

You may have an issue with how the coil packs attach to the valve covers. I don't think the pathfinder/qx4 use packs, just spark plug wires from a distributor. The plastic covers have nut inserts for holding the Z33 coil packs into their spots without backing out.
