Default anyone had clutch problem?

i have a 05 z. had it for 2yrs.
clutch stuck in half way when engine is warm. I have to pull it to bring up to normal position.
does this mean, it is a time to get new clutch? or it is a defect?
I really wanna know b4 i go to a dealer.
I don;t want the dealer to make me pay for new clutch.

Can any one answer this for me?

It sounds like the clutch slave cylinder is losing pressure.

It should, but some dealers have been a pain.

Question

What does your warranty say about clutch repairs?

I acutally just got mine change just about 2 weeks ago. The dealership didnt cover it.
It wasnt that much to get it fixed i believe it was under 250 with labor. I have to look at the reciept because i got other things done to my car so i have to see how much was that.

So warranty doesn't cover clutch or your transmission?

good thing you guys mentioned this. Im not sure if im having the same issue but when the car is still cool clutch is perfect but once its warmed up, everytime i disengaged the clutch my car shakes like a ****, making me look like a Newbie MT driver. And everytime i step on the clutch it makes a funky noise. like squeeking. But again it only does this when the car is warmed up. I got my clutch checked and they said its perfect.

What you're describing is normal. However the loss of pressure which keeps the clutch from "popping back up" that the other guy is describing is not. They may cover it under warranty as the leak is not standard clutch wear and tear.
