Default Tranny Swap?

One of my buddies has the 35th anniversary Z and it's an Auto and for some reason he is thinking of doing a tranny swap so I told him I'd try to figure out what I could to help him out. Can this even be done? And if so, I'm sure it's not cheap. Thanks for your help guys!

It can be done but knowing that there are so many manual 350zs out there, the easier thing would be trading the car in for one. It will save a lot of headaches in the long run.

tell him to take the punishment like a man. He's the one that bought an AT probably not knowing that everyone was going to rag on him about it.

Possible? Yes. A lot easier and cheaper to trade the car in on a 6MT though

All the 35th Anniversary editions Z's I have seen are mt6's.

Is your friends Z just a 05 Z car???? This is the 35th year not the model.

what part of sc?

Its too expensive to do the swap. Youll need alot of extra crap just to make it work. Trading it in on another Z would be more practical.
