Loosing Tracktion When Wet!!!

I had an OEM VLSD and now have a Quaife ATB lsd--while this improves traction, when you are on wet surfaces in the rain and accelerating fast, you will start to lose traction, especially on a RWD car with a good amount of torque. Go slower and accelerate smoother and the issues should not be there. Real life driving is not grand turismo--There is no solution to ur question except to improve your driving habits in wet weather.
If you can't understand that and don't want to hear honest answers, then please do no post stupid threads like this

If you're in the snow or on ice you can't help it. However, from what you described, you're just hydroplaning the wheels intermittently.

It's driver error. I had a base model Z and NEVER kicked out the rear/lost traction in the rain (hell, never did in snow either). You absolutely have to be easy in wet conditions.

Yea, what the rest said, just be easier on the gas since you dont have tcs to be that angel on your shoulder telling you to take it easy lol. My tires are almost bald and its been raining a lot here, I just keep it in 5th to make sure I dont have much power, 5th because im in an auto...

jesus. it's either your tires or your alignment. simple as that. Differentials are not responsible for this issue, although they make it better, it is not the solution in this case.
our cars should not be losing traction like that. when I had my stock potenzas they did have terrible traction in the wet when they were about 60% tread left and just got worse from there.
I suggest getting a 1 year alignment, then changing your tires and going back and getting it realigned.

I have a non-LSD havin' Z and I put power down through the same size contact patch on both sides....until one side loses traction
(I only italicized the word traction because the OP obviously doesn't know how to spell that word, and I didn't want to confuse him....he has enough problems as it is, you know, not knowing how to drive and all)

The guy asked a valid question, you had nothing valid to say so you tell him he's the problem. Ok e-thug.. Maybe you should stick to off-topic with "lol's" and smiley faces, it seems more your style.

Hey man, all rear wheel drives have this problem.... I have an 06 base w/ a cusco RS LSD, and 285 tires in the back and it still can break loose if its wet or not.... just more often when its wet if i don't stay off the pedal. I initially though t there was something wrong too but all rear wheel drives are like that.

i have a base with no lsd and have never had any traction problems driving in rain or with mild acceleration in the rain either. the only time my tire's lost traction is when i downshifted into 3rd going 60mph on a wet road and let off the gas when i realized that my tires were pretty much free spinning and i wasn't going any faster hahaha. the one time an lsd would've made a difference in my daily driving
