Default High Clutch Engagement

Hey All,

My bro just bought a 2008 6MT Enthusiast. Such a great car. I love it.

I did some driving and was surprised that the clutch engages fairly high off the floor. Is this normal for Z's? I know that Nissan's in general tend to have high clutch engagements.

Is there any way to adjust the clutch so that it engages a little earlier?

Otherwise, the stick itself is great...nice short throws. Not buttery smooth like a S2000....but still nice....nice heft and direct shifting.

Thanks!

The z's have a high engagement point. It's normal. I believe there was a thread covering the lowering of the engagement point, or the pedals travel. you should search it

yes it's normal.

There is a thread out there about changing the engagement point but there is a lot of back and forth as to if it will wear out the clutch prematurely. Do some searching you will find a lot of info
