Default How much should 3 dyno pulls cost (just for numbers, not tuning)

The reason why I am asking is that I was planning on going back to the same place where I dynod before some mods to get another pull to generally see what my breathing mods have done, however when I inquired into the cost of the pulls--I was shocked to hear them say: $300 for 3 pulls!

About 1 year ago, the cost was $100 for three pulls, now they want $300?

Isn't that steep? What is the usual going price for 3 dyno pulls on a dynojet?

Thx.

$300 can practically get you a tune. sounds like a shop trying to pull highway robbery on noobs.

3 pulls with air/fuel ratio should be less than $100. Probably around $75-85
I personally wouldn't even bother with the dyno UNLESS it has air/fuel ratio.

Same here. Both back in Orlando, FL and Charlotte, NC. $300 is outragous.

I run the dyno at my shop. My prices are 60 3 pulls w/ AF and 50 without AF.
Did they ask you what kind of car you drove first ? I mean I surcharge Ferraris, Lambos and Lotuses to $120 for 3, but that is because it takes so long to strap those things down properly, because of how low they are.

It had to be an error. Call again.
We're having a dyno day tomorrow, 3 pulls with AF for $45.

yea, I thought their number was ridiculous and almost laughed on the phone (it was a porsche exchange--maybe that's the reason why their prices our outrageuos?).

Thx for the input guys. I'm gonna see what GRD can do for me in the near future instead.

Try to get a dyno day together. It is the best way to get a cheap dyno. And you get to see how you car stacks up to other Z's in your area. We get 3 wide band pulls for 40$ with 10 Z's.

Yes. indeed. Meifumado is essentially the Buddhist Hell; the way of demons and damnation.

Teh original shop also recently agreed to the do the 3 pulls on their dynojet with A/F readings for ($200) after I inquired why the cost was so much--still highway robbery, but would like to get in dynod there for comparison of my baseline dyno done there on the same dynojet. suks.

Just to give you an idea... We charge $300 to tune a NA UTEC, $100 for a baseline.

Much more reasonable. And seems to be about the standard for most professional shops
