Do any of you guys hear a creaking noise when you push the clutch pedal fully to the floor? It only happens if you push the clutch in 100% and it makes the sound the last half inch before it hits the ground. Its not that loud but its annoying as hell and i feel like im driving some old cheap civic or something.

 

meh...just stomp on her WOT...and listen to the engine/exhaust...I know what you speak of tho...I've had that on one of my previous vw gti's...no biggie.

 

damn i know exactly wat your talking bout. it drives me crazy! i hate that sound it makes me feel like **** when i hear it creak or squeal or i duno wat you can call it. it sounds like a spring being pushed in slowly

 

change the clutch, problem solved. My squeaking was due to the throw out bearing.

 

never have such problem like that...(knock on wood), the stock clutch not suppose to make noise. It a different story if you got the Nismo clutch though....

 

so basically my clutch is going bad?

i took it to the dealer cuz its really hard to put into 2nd gear, like i have to put an effort to put it into 2nd. the guy said my clutch is going bad and that he doesnt know how much longer it will last. its a hard click when goin into 2nd gear

 

Today was one of the few days i was driving with my stereo off and i know exactly what sound youre talking about, its a clicking sound right when you almost fully release it.

 

same here.. I hear dung.. dung.. noisy when I'm barely pushing on it.. grrrrrrr esp when you are at drive through of fast food restaurant and you can clearly hear by the wall that's next to you!!

 

Well it's completely normal, according to dealers.

apart from above (the crazy annoying clicking/can of nails sound/other random sounds) which i have, the clutch pedal assembly actually creaks. Its the actual pedal assembly itself...it has nothing to do with the clutch. It makes the sound like I am opening a door with a rusty hinge.

does anyone else have this?

 

that's what i'm talking about .Sounds like a creaking/squeeking. I have looked at the pedal itself thinking it was the springs that needed some lube or something. It's not though.

 

is this a warranty fix?

 

mine didnt creak but it used to make a popping sound lol

 

mine has squeaked for a long time... i have 50k miles on it and it hasn't given me any other "problems"...

 

I don't think I have that. Only annoying things I have. Which isn't to annoying is the sound coming from the gear box when going into gears.. I hear it going in and out of gear when I shift. In my civic I heard it from the outside. And my clutch pedal when pushing it out it vibrates like a biitch.. Feels like its spinning and massaging my foot lol.
