Question Any tips or trick for replacing the half shafts?

I got my DSS LV 5 Axles in and have been going over the service manual RAX -11 Rear Drive shaft removal portion.

It seems fairly straight forward with removing the wheel, cotter pin, lock nut, all bolts on the final drive (wired up for safety). Use a wheel puller or rubber mallet and press/ tap out the spline side.

Open the final drive boot, remove the stop ring with a flat head screw driver, remove snap ring and seperate ball cage from race. Clean up and regrease. Replace on DSS LV 5 race and replace snap ring. grease inside of final drive and set ball cage/ race into housing. Reinstall new stop ring. Bolt up and torque down all nuts and bolts.

Yes this is OVERLY simplified but looking to see if there was any thing major that Im just simply overlooking or not getting. The only portion thats being dissasembled is the ball race portion of the old drive shaft.

Definately looking to replace all the crush wahsers and hardware since it has been removed and replaced in the past, to include the stop ring (as recomended by the manual).

So any hints or tips would be helpful. Thanks
