Default crank pulley vs pulley set

is there any benefit to gettin the whole UR pulley set compared to just gettin the underdrive crank pulley?

is it just to keep everything matching under the hood or are all the pulleys lighter too?

the crank pulley is essentially the only one out of the set that actually frees up power. the rest do minimal gains. imo its not really worth the $300+top free up the +-5whp that you'll achieve with them

It depends on the brand. Some accessory pulleys are made overdrive to keep the respective components running properly because the associated crank pulley is underdrive. All are usually lighter, but if you get a standard diameter crank pulley, then the rest of the pulleys are just for looks imo. Get a high quality, steel insert, not underdrive, lighter crank pulley and call it a day.

The pulley "sets" look pretty, the crank is what nets you the improvement, and 90% of it is due to its substantially reduced weight vs the stock piece. Underdriving on these cars, with stock motors, does not net you any more substantial improvement vs stock diameter, so it's really your own call. For those who want a bit of extra shine in the engine bay, or do shows, etc, then the full sets do look pretty...but the accessory pullies won't do anything as far as power is concerned

tons of people do....its really whatever your preference is.

I have personally had an underdriven setup on my car for a long time, with a full stereo, and 0 issues whatsoever
