Default how to determine 6MT transmission revision (one method, NOT asking question).

I didn't see anyone post this with my searching, just a few passing remarks, but just in case anyone is wondering which manual transmission version they have, here's a quick way.

Take a digital camera, and reach under the passenger front tire, lying in front of the car (please do this on a level surface, I'm not responsible if you run yourself over).

If you can maneuver the camera behind the suspension, you can snap some pretty clear shots of the sticker on the side of the transmission. It may take a few tries, but this shouldn't take more than a minute.

This is from my 2006 G35, built in March, or at some point earlier in the calender year.

All transmissions prior to the CD009 model had relatively common syncro problems.

What model transmission are deamed bad? CD007 CD008??
Thanks for the help. I'm planning on purchasing a Z and deciding on what year of Z I should look for and what transmission to spy for under the car.
