Default Couple question about swaping in a 6MT

Ok found a couple trannys that i like and are in my price range... just have a couple questions about the swap...
does the 6mt Z have any difference in the computers... cuz i know the 240s do but its not that big of a deal... didnt know if it would be in the Z..
and if i were to do this how would i wire up the reverse lights when the car is put in reverse? and what about the clutch Safty switch?, the thing that keeps the starter from working if the clutch isnt engadged...
one last thing... where could i get a brake clutch pedal assembly?? anybody know of any wrecked Z's??

Why not rave about the automatic like the rest of the automatic drivers. Are you some kind of subversive?

^Lol~

I don't blame you for wanting to swap out the auto tranny. There was a thread on this awhile back. I think MRC or GTM did the swap. It was extremely complicated and costly. Not worth it. Just get a Z with a manual tranny already in it.

I woulnd't advise someone with general knowledge to do the swap.I've done a few honda/acura auto to man's. Its not that bad.Remove and replace. The holes are already in place to punch out for the new master cylinder and clutch. Other then that its a real simple install.

Uhhh, read this and let us know if you still think it's 'real simple'... :-)

$8,700 = parts & labor.
4-6 week turn around.
