Baseline Dyno...254whp
Something is just to fishy here, i have popcharger,5/16 plenum, utec, clutch, flywheel, test pipes, single exhaust, headers, and im making 266whp and 243tq. Your numbers just dont add up!!!
how are you making 266 with ALL that stuff? I couldnt see those numbers with stock ECU or a reflash but with UTEC? who tuned it?

Able 2 fly, Dyonjet dynos generally post higher that actual numbers because there not a electrically loaded dyno. generally to you multiply 1.17 to Dyno Dynamics numbers to get a dynojet numbers. How else could Stillen state that Their stage 4 superchargers added 100hp to the VQ engine. PS stillen uses Dyonjet dyno in their horsepower exaggerations.

I was expecting 240whp at the most so this really was a surprise. Has anyone seen this type of result. On Dynojet dyno. We just made 248ft/lbs and 255whp. Keep in mind this is a 2003.

This would also mean there is probably some sap of a 350Z owner with a stock car putting only 190 or so whp...
Personally, I don't believe the dyno the OP posted. It's either that or his vehicle isn't stock.
this is why i hate this forum.
out of all members here only one other guy believes him
only a bunch of haters. lol yah i said it. hate on that too.
however, it is factual to say the more you keep flooring it.
the better the computer learns it.
i find this true because a buddy of mine whom has a non-rev-up
got it tuned with orisis and saw almost 5whp out of his tune.
why? only 5 when there was shown 15 plus dyno pulls of change.
i believe it is because of the computer that is in our cars
it does alota learning in the NA bolt-on phase.
so stop saying its imposible and go out and drive the hell out of your car more.. but do it safely please.
show of hands how many people on this thread floor there car everytime they get in it. or most of the time anyway?

Another reason for the higher than normal HP numbers is air temp, humidity, and altitude, the 05 base Z is supposed to be 287 @ 70F, 30% humidity at sea level, If your close to the coast and temp are 50 degrees and humidity in the 20%, I suppose that 20hp or more is possible. With all that said, Don't take these numbers too seriously. Dyno numbers are like a bathroom scales they make not be 100% accurate, but they can tell you if you losing on gaining weight. Do a baseline run, add you modification(s), then test again on a day with close to same temperature as your base run on the same dyno.
