Baseline Dyno...254whp
"NA cars love heating up"? Is this common knowledge, like "gaining horsepower from repetitive runs"? It's the numbers as much as these statements that are screaming for the BS flag. 246whp is NOT unrealistic, but gaining 15whp by doing nothing IS. I've seen repetitive runs gain, AND lose power, assuming the engine was already up to operating temperature. But in ALL cases, you don't get 261whp from a car that's nominally 238 (287-17%).
I have never heard anything anywhere about NA cars loving to heat up. I guess if you put a fresh cold engine on the dyno without even so much as letting it idle for 2 mins then it might be less but where are you getting that from? Personally I dont think its even possible, to make that much RWHP on the VQ stock.

I am unsure why you are sitting here trying to flame on this thread. I am not arguing with anyone. It is what it is. I will upload a video and show everyone. Even then someone will say its an ECU or its the dyno. So after the video I dont not know what to tell you. Will post up.

And you also believe that excess heat has a positive influence on engine power output?
That dyno is reading extremely high or that vehicle is not stock. If you are so sure the vehicle is stock and the dyno is accurate, then provide graph from a different shop's dyno (same type) with the same vehicle/same conditions.
I hate to resurect an old thread, but I have a new data point for this "factory freak" question.
The fist time I dyno'd my car it put down 251HP on the same dyno, same day, another Z put down 234HP.
Fast forward a few years and I have now put my car on a dyno for a second time, and I thought of this thread....
Injected Performance brought out their "Heartbreaker" dyno, that has a reputation for giving very low numbers, to ZdayZ this year. (Dyno Dynamics dyno)
They had a dyno shootout and worked their butts off doing pulls for a lot of cars.
My car put down 237.7 HP on their dyno. That same day, same dyno, I don't remember any other stock (DE motor) Z getting above 220.
215hp was "average" for stock Z's on that dyno, on that day. (I saw one get 212hp)
My Z is still stock as far as HP goes. In fact I was running a Nissan paper air filter instead of my high-flow air filter. Bone stock.

Just FYI my car made 241whp SAE on a dynojet when it had a pop charger. Most stock cars on dyno dynamics dyno in the ~215 area. I call BS in a big way on making 15whp more after dozens of pulls. If you made 237.7 on a dyno dynamics that is very strong. I have just about every bolt-on + some (no headers though) and made 262.2 uncorrected on dyno dynamics (282.5whp sae on a dynojet).
I have pulled 251.1 and 237.7 on two different dyno dynamics, at two different times and places. What I was comparing was the variance between stock Z numbers. (Again, same dyno, same day.)
I wasn't looking so much at my HP number by itself, but the difference between it and other stock Z's that did pulls on the same dyno, the same day.
