i know the lsd is adjustable, but i didn't bother checking when I installed mine. Do you know what "setting" its on when you receieve it? (i.e. soft medium hard). Please don't post if you don't know.

 

I think they all come set to 60% lockup by default which is the low setting

after much searching i found out that it comes 100% setting from the factory.

there are Two settings available for the nismo lsd.
One for "initial breakaway TQ" (which is set at medium out of the box)
and the actual lock percentage itself.

the initial TQ setting which can be adjusted without removing the lsd from the pumpkin... this is the setting referred to in the instruction manual.

but the lock setting that I think you're referring to cannot be changed unless you open up the entire LSD and rearrange the clutch plates inside the LSD.

i have mine set on a low setting, but it still clunks and pops regardless on super slow turns and in parking lots, even with motul fluid. Not nearly as harsh as the 100% setting but its still there.
I still love my lsd though
