Default Transmission woes. Help please!

I tried searching the forums, but haven't found anything like what I am experiencing.

I want to know if anyone has experienced what I am experiencing in my car. I have a 2004.5 Touring, that I bought CPO a year ago (with about 32k miles and now has 43k miles). I will try and explain this as best as I can.

This is a scenario (though it happens in 2nd and 4th gears as well):

I accelerate hard, and row through the gears until 4th. I then down shift into third where the rpm will be at 4000 (for example), and let the car engine brake, coming down in revs. Usually between 2700 and 3200 rpm I get a big vibration from the transmission (you can feel it in the gearshift), which can also be felt through the pedals and to an extent the car. Bare in mind that I know there is vibration through the gearbox because of the direct linkage. It is also quite sticky going into and out of 6th gear.

I have brought it to two dealerships, and in typical fashion they cannot replicate it.

There has to be someone on here that knows what I am speaking of, and has a solution.

Its driving me crazy, and is ruining my Z experience.

Besides that, my fuel still spills out of my tank when I fill it up (even though its had its fuel valve replaced a couple of times).

I'm gonna throw a wrench in your works. Have you checked your front tires to see if there is cupping/feathering? Mine were terrible and I got vibrations that were diagnosed from anything to wheel bearing to transmission, etc. The vibration that I was getting was bad enough that interior body panels vibrated.
When I bought new tires, the problem completely disappeared.

One way that I found to check this is to drive through a bunch of dust/dirt then check the tires.
Hopefully that's all it is. Tires are a lot cheaper than trannys.

PAY A MASTER TECH to ride! They get no compensation unless warranty problems are found, accepted and paid to accomplish.

They hate warranty since the hours paid are discounted to Nissan.

Understanding how dealerships work will greatly enhance your experience.

$30 cash is better than 1 hours technican gross pay.
